Get to know Tash

Tash (pronouns she/her) is a Manchester lass, an 80’s child who was born and raised in the UK. Proud of her British Jamaican roots, she was the first of her family to stand up and smile in her cap and gown whilst celebrating her dream of becoming a Psychology graduate.

Tash is a DEI storyteller who creatively weaves in insights and expertise from what she has seen, heard and felt in her global corporate career, alongside the power of ‘high and low’ lived experiences, she has a warm, compassionate, value-add approach to her work as Global Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Consultant.

From sport to legal, agency to technology, fashion to engineering, Tash has worked at several global industry leaders. She has led large teams, had a seat at the table of HR leadership teams, worked in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion across the UK, Germany, USA and the Netherlands.

Tash is a biracial, millennial, expat woman and a career parent – this is an example of intersectionality.

Tash is the daughter of a leader from the British Royal Navy and former black footballer in the 1970s. From him, she has learned how to be focused, respectful and disciplined.

From her mother, who was a holistic therapist and stay at home mum, she learned the importance of balance, positivity and her light-hearted humour (or not to take life so seriously). This blend of masculine and feminine energy/traits have contributed to her success to date. Her mum acquired a disability in her adult life, so seeing the world through a different lens is something Tash is an ally for.

Tash provokes thought and opens mindsets to create more inclusion and belonging in the workplace. Psychological safety is a priority, whilst she advocates for equity (fairness) and her style is graceful with grit.

Tash can guide and support your organization in embedding diversity and inclusion into your business DNA. She is practical, listens intently, and advises on how you can move forward in an honest and respectful manner. She will partner with you to unlock some gems to build more diversity, equity and inclusion into your company in an authentic, organic way. She brings fresh and different perspectives to your table.
